Ms. Funke specializes in topics related to World War II, particularly encouraging readers to relate to the level of effort and sacrifice involved, both in battle and on the home front. Over the past year, our Club has supported Ms. Funke with donations to purchase books to be given to local schools as a part of her educational outreach. So far, our Club has donated books to Putnam, Irish, and Harris Bilingual Elementary Schools. The book presentations have also provided
