Lions Camp

Summer Camp dedicated for the visually or hearing impaired and those with developmental disabilities.

Lions Camp GroupChildren and adults from throughout the state who are visually or hearing impaired, and those with developmental disabilities, enjoy the Colorado Lions Camp each summer. The Lions of Colorado built this property, located near Woodland Park, and campers are sponsored by their local Lions Clubs when financial situations warrant Lions club support.

The Colorado Lions Camp is a year round facility providing summer programs for special populations (ages 8 and above) and winter programs for large and small groups. The camp is nestled at 8,500 feet in the mountains four miles north of Woodland Park on Highway 67. The camp has miles of scenic trails both on the property and through Pike National Forest. The summer camping session provides the campers with a large variety of activities including archery, astronomy, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, camping, and hiking. The campership fee for the summer session is $450.00 (2014) for a one week session. Sponsorships are available from the Lions Clubs of Colorado.
